Configure Inputs
Configure UDP input ports and Cloud flow logs inputs​
By default NetFlow Optimizer is preconfigured with one active data input UDP port number 9995.
There are also inputs for popular cloud platforms flow logs:
- Amazon VPC Flow Logs (see AWS VPC Flow Logs Input Configuration for details)
- Google VPC Flow Logs (see Google Cloud VPC Flow Logs Input Configuration for details)
- Microsoft Azure NSG Flow Logs (see Microsof Azure NSG Flow Logs Input Configuration for details)
To change the default data input UDP port number or to add additional data inputs, follow the steps below.
Click on the ‘edit’ symbol to change the existing data input port
Click ‘Save’
Click on the ‘plus’ symbol
to add additional data input ports
Click ‘Save’

Public cloud flow inputs are handled by the corresponding EDFN Agents. To configure public cloud flow ingestion click on the corresponding input. These configurations are used not only to ingest cloud flow logs, but also to update internal datasets for enrichment of flow data with EC2 or VM names, Regions, VPC names, etc. Please see Public Cloud Flow Logs Input Configuration section for details.
