Appendix 2 - Syslog Formats

📄️ Devices (nfc_id=20180)

This syslog reports health and failure risk of devices based on worst performing interface.

📄️ Interfaces (nfc_id=20181)

This syslog reports health and failure risk of interfaces.

📄️ Path (nfc_id=20183)

This syslog reports network path - a reconstruction of routes in a network taken by the traffic between a pair of communicating peers A and B (VM-to-VM, VM-to-Host, and Host-to-Host). Paths from A to B and from B to A are reported separately.

📄️ VTEP – ToR Adjacency (nfc_id=20184)

This syslog reports VTEP – ToR adjacency. It is used in vR Ops to build relationships between ToRs and VMhosts.

📄️ VM-VM Conversations (nfc_id=20186)

This syslog reports VM-VM Conversations ONLY if both VMs are on the same VXLAN. This syslog is implemented but currently disabled – subject to discussion with customers.

📄️ Top Tunnels (nfc_id=20187)

This syslog reports top tunnels by traffic.
