Configure Inputs
NetFlow Optimizer can receive continuous data inputs from a variety of sources, providing comprehensive network visibility. These include traditional flow protocols such as NetFlow V5/v9, IPFIX, sFlow, and J-Flow, as well as cloud flow logs from major providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
In addition to these established methods, NetFlow Optimizer now supports Model Driven Telemetry (MDT). This modern telemetry approach enables network devices to proactively stream structured data based on defined models, offering real-time insights into network state and performance via the efficient gRPC protocol. NFO listens for these "dial-out" MDT streams initiated by your configured network devices.
Furthermore, you can also configure the reception of SNMP traps on this page for immediate event notifications from your network infrastructure.
